Adwords and Adsense Alternatives

Hello Warriors. I've been seeing a lot of horror stories and general problems about google adwords and adsense shutting web sites down for various reasons. Some of these reasons for shutting sites down seem reasonable and some definitely do not.

Considering the old saying, "don't put all of your eggs in one basket", what would you suggest as a viable alternative to these two programs?

    Google can't "shut down" your Web site. All they can do is prevent you from running Adwords campaigns or using Adsense on your Web site.

    For alternatives to Adwords, try Microsoft AdCenter and Yahoo! Advertising.

    For Adsense alternatives, try Chitika or Adbrite. Although I've heard some bad things about Adbrite lately... check this forum.

      Thanks for the post and the other options Rob, I really appreciate it.

      You're right and i should have been more clear in meaning "shut down the website" to mean lose all revenue generation if adwords or adsense is shut down for the site.
