Hello,

I have avg 60% exit rate on my site.
I tried to improve my content but nothing worked - 60% of traffic still hit the exit button.

The site is on WP.
So I decided to install a plugin that would redirect back button hitters to another landing page on another domain.

Bots dont see this script, however such a change will be necessary recorded in
my google analytics data.

The question: Will Google kick my ass for that or not? And why?

Thanks

They might. I'm in the impression that they've mentioned this somewhere. However, could not find anything concrete, just a few blog mentions.

If you messed with my browser buttons I'd make a mental note to never visit your site again. No matter what you're trying to do this is a bad idea.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

    What's your excuse?
