Google 3 Pack or 1st Link

So, my company is ranked #1 for various keywords in our location. But, we do not fall in the google local "3 pack" and instead we are the first link after the 3 pack.

My question is: is it better to be the first organic rank or to be a part of the 3 pack? Which gets more clicks?

      If you are running a local business, i might say that ranking in google map 3 pack is important. Since the 3 pack comes with the location details and google plus profile, it might be easier for them to get exposure for their business in a specific location.
