Should I remove older posts that didn't get any traffic or rarely do?

IF I have old content, that never got much traffic, that can not be improved, that is a side show on my site, should I remove it?

What does forums like this do with old, little trafficked threads? Does it remove it? I know often it get archived but I don't think I can do that, should, nor do I know what that does much.

Are you even human? Cuz your other responses in this forum are just plain weird.

If your pages are indexed, no need to delete them.
Well, even if they are not indexed, makes no difference then.

Any page you own adds to your backlink count and possibilities.

I would imagine that any page on, oh say MLK Day is getting zero traffic about now.

Should they delete them? Of course not.

Deleting the old pages as because they are not getting traffic is not a good thing. Who told you to do this anyway?

Well I am considering a bit of a site restructuring, I have some blog posts under a topic collection, the topic collection is a bit, off topic, and the blog posts get little to no traffic but may have a internal backlink or 2. I know poor quality pages have been claimed to hurt the overall site by people in the past. I have seen forums archive and lock out old threads. So I was just asking what people thought.

  • Don't delete any of your page. Instead, you can choose long tail low competitive keywords to optimize the content of the page again and find visitors!

Its better that you can improve the level of optimization for those web pages of your website.

I have to say that it depends on your pages. If they are pure spam or some other type of abomination, you might wish to delete them. However, there is no point in deleting perfectly fine articles.
