Don't build links on home page, instead build inner pages......... I would say that build links on inner pages mainly....

Pick up an inner page, copy the title of inner page and put in Google + comment/forum/reply/discussion and put your links on all those resulting websites, whether they are blogs, forums, videos websites, social networking website, charity website or something others....... don't think of dofollow or nofollow, don't think of clickable links and non-clickable links and keep going adding as values to the commenting website as you can, you will get the result within 15 days.

Find student bloggers that are allowed to have a blog on their school's domain. There's a ton of them.

Go through each one related to your niche, and start commenting on them. No links. Leave legit comments, getting to know the person. Don't link to your site in the name field, at all.

After about 8-10 comments, leave another, but this time drop a blank link in the comment field. Make sure the comment is long, or the owner will be able to spot your intentions.

Leaving a blank link means to create a link to your page with [a href='yourlink.com' title='your keywords'] [/a] -- replace the proper syntax.

If you do it at the end, you're going to get a "NoText" link, but it will be from a .edu site, and be dofollow, and the owner won't know they approved it.

I didn't come up with the strategy, just abuse it regularly. Don't judge me.

This is a strategy that will get penalized sometime in the future, if everyone jumps on the bandwagon.

Writing the content is step one of getting backlinks. The rest takes a lot of effort (to begin with). Perform outreach frequently, social share it multiple times and don't let good content go stale.
