Having the same url's from old to new site help?

Hey guys, I have put my new theme on a subdomain here to work on it:
Computer Repair | Just another WordPress site
When it's done I will move it to my main domain here replacing the old theme:

I have had some backlinking done on my old theme so I have been told that it's key that I maintain the same old url's from the old theme but what does that mean exactly? As an example, taking the ABOUT page url from the old theme which is
DJ Setup Queens, NY Computer Repairs and Professional DJ Equipment NYC
Since the new theme's url for that page is About - Computer RepairComputer Repair
Should I change that url in the WP dashboard to now reflect what's below from the old theme?
