SEO ADVICE - The Importance of Indexing

I am astounded at just how often I find seo services offering links on pages and posts which never get indexed.

PBN's, web2 pages, profile links, business citations, and pretty much most of every other type of linkbuilding.. all of these have one thing in common...

If they don't get indexed they are a waste of time!

Often a service will offer tier 1 links and a bunch of tier 2 links and sometimes even tier 3 links... this indicates to the client that these links will be indexed... and the client won't even bother checking, they just assume everything will be GOOD...

However, I am absolutely astounded by just how many of these links do NOT get indexed, even after months...(the tier 2 links don't get indexed so they don't help the tier 1 links anyway, and as a result the tier 1 links remain not indexed), and people just never check, they just assume that the extra tiers do their job....

I won't name names but some services right here on this very forum are guilty of this alarming injustice... they are so good at marketing their services, people just tend to overlook the indexing part... people get blinded by the clever sales page, the high metrics of the blogs, the well written articles, the safety of the networks, the relevance of the category, the variety of the anchor text, the attractive prices, and then after the job, the positive looking reports. Some services won't actually disclose their blogs to keep them private (which is actually a good thing), but a reasonable proficient person can find them anyway... and when they do, they see the work was done, the article is great, it's on a great relevant high metric page as promised and their link is working with appropriate anchor text.. everything seems great, and that's it, the client is happy.... BUT wait, hasn't he forgot something? yep... you guessed it, he forgot to check the indexing rate.

Well... my warrior friends...

IT'S ALL WORTHLESS IF IT'S NOT INDEXED! ..(you could say a post that's not indexed still might have some value, like for traffic etc... but na, not really, if it had good traffic then I bet it actually would be indexed.)

Do yourself a favor, next time you order some seo service, make SURE they have a good indexing rate..... and after a few months you find out that only 5% of the links are indexed in Google..well.. don't use them again....

Find one that gets at least 50% of its links indexed..... at least! I prefer 100%. Do some checking and NEVER overlook the importance of INDEXING!

and for those who don't know.. the easy quick way to check if a url is indexed or not is to type the following query into the google.com search.. site:yoururl.com (you can leave the http://www. bit out if you want to, it doesn't matter)
