Question about SERPS

The other day I built a link wheel with a squidoo lens as the focus, and with 6 other pages on blogger, hubpages, wordpress, weebly, livejournal, and vox.
-they were all optimized for the same keyword
-the keyword I'm shooting for only has 1,100 competition in an exact search
-each page had an original article that I wrote myself
I pinged everything last night on pingomatic, and today I don't see anything listed in the serps. I did see the hubpages one on the front page at #9 for a couple hours, but now it seems to have slipped away.
So I have 2 questions:
1. About how long should it take to see my squidoo lens in the serps?
2. I'll be bookmarking all of those today, but is there anything else I should be doing?
