Hi guys, is there any diffrence from an SEO perspective when creating a URL for a blog post between _ or -?

      I've seen Google recommend hyphens on their webmaster help pages. Technically it doesn't matter which one you use, just be consistent with the entire site.

    Google may see a_page_name_like_this_as_one_long_string_of_charac ters

    Best practice is to use hyphens.

    the point is to write something people dont have to make an extra effort to write. this-is-always-better
    than_this_because_I_dont have to press an extra *ucking key.

    Pinterest only allows underscores but that's most likely because they have something in their code that hyphens will phuck up.

    Always remember it's the URL that ranks not the page or the content. Just the URL. Everything else is a component.
