I think Google Deindexed my website

I am not sure why google deindexed my homepage of my website. It has been ranking for keywords like "win cash online" for about 3 months and now its not there.

All my other webpages are still indexed but my homepage is gone. I have not been spamming or anything. I try to run an online gaming website just like many others that are still ranking.

Is there any explanation and is there something i can do?

Thanks,
Brian P

Sorry for putting 3 post on here. But this is my question now.

I have been ranking for 1 year. I put a nofollow on my website by accident for the past two months and got deindexed on my homepage. Once google finds me will things go back to normal or will it take time like before for google to rank me higher again?

    Thanks,

      Hi Brian,

From my experience, the time that Google ranks your site well again after deindexing usually varies. Most of the time, it will take some time. I suggest once your site is indexed by Google again, build some back links immediately.

Beat it good!! What tipped me off was that you said that you had other pages indexed. Other pages counts as being indexed even if your home page wasn't, you could be making a bulk of cash off those other pages.

also check what website is linking to your homepage now, there could be someone put your web url in porn site, then you get penalised....

Well it seems like all search engines removed my homepage. I search for my domain name and it does not show up. But other pages show up just not my home page. I took the nofollow off my webpage 2 days ago now.

Should i resubmit my website to google or just wait for it to reindex the page?

When you say you put a nofollow tag on your website, where exactly did you put it and to where?

So i redid my homepage about 1 month ago. I used a pre-existing template for its layout and then redid it.

In the head tag it had

        <META NAME='ROBOTS' CONTENT='NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW'/>

After about 1 month i seemed to have lost some of my organic traffic for that webpage.

I started to check the search engines if my homepage was indexed by:

        link:domain
        site:domain
        and just my domain

My homepage did not show up for any of them just ofter pages on my domain name did.
I then checked my website and saw that Meta tag i put in there and wanted to slap myself in the face.

So i have taken that tag off last Saturday so it is going to be the 4th day now.

So I am hopeing google and other search engines will reindex me soon.

No need to worry too much if u have other pages indexed.

That's the beauty of having many pages.

About re-index of your homepage, actually nobody can give u the exact time.

My advice, don't bother or worry too much. It'll come back for sure.

I experienced the same thing before. My homepage re-indexed after three weeks...and i did nothing for it.

          Cheers..

Have you check with site command? site:yourdomain.com
If it list your site, you are not banned or de-indexed. Sometimes, due to goolge dance, you may loss your SERP.

So, if the site command shows your site, it is better to get more backlinks to come back.

So good news everyone. My webpage reindexed itself around 1 week ago. I wanted to give everyone the update.

This is what I did that screwed me up.

I redid my website and accidently added robots.txt nofollow. Google deindexed just the page.

I found out 1 month later. And after about 2 weeks Google reindexed my website.

    Thanks so much
