Built some backlink. What to do next?

So I built some backlinks on some .edu forum (the polite way) just wonder if there anything I need to do in order to get them indexed? I hear someone say they have to be pinged. However I am not sure how to do it correctly. Can someone please point me to the right direction? How long doe it usually take for google to index them?

    There's no need to beat around the bush. We all know you're talking about spamming their forum.

    There's a lot of pinging services. Just do a Google search. However, I suspect that the backlinks are worthless in any case. I'd just leave it to Google.

    You search Google will find lots of free backlink tool ping but it's limits! If you really want to do more than that, you can use the ping premium E.g: Backlink Indexer, more and more!

    I wont suggest pinging them. Let them index naturally as thats what SEO of 2016 demands. You should go ahead and build some social signals for your site now.

    I know that this is not what you have asked but, regardless if the links are indexed naturally or not you would probably need more backlinks not only .edu. Best way to do it is to do competition research and make a list of 100+ competitors sites. Than find your competitors backlinks and start using the same websites as them, but mix it up - post comment on their blog post, use the same blogs to guest blog your article and so on.

    But for obvious reasons dont use only do follow links

    You need to build much more backlink then wait for our site to up top google.

    You can also ping them and try to get put some links to edu's for you to get more links from them.
