WTF is your point?

You think it is valuable to post what the definition of SEO is on an SEO forum?

A lot more valuable than the OP, because it might deter similar useless posters, spammers, post-counters, and other assorted numbnuts from posting the bleedin' obvious.

You people are not reading carefully enough, the OP brings in a variation: Their brand of SEO can be done offline too. I'd so much like it if I could figure a way to get me eating an omelette or taking a bath rank my pages for good keyword!

Unfortunately it's not that easy. You're just wasting time. You've got to advertise your site.

Here's some ideas:
- Write your domain name on a piece of cardboard and stand next to some beggars.
- Write your domain name to snow or dust on cars. The car owners will appreciate your thoughtful artwork.
- Yell your domain name real loud at random locations. Passers by will be impressed, and if you're good enough you get to perform your elevator pitch to a bunch of guys in cool uniforms.
- Try peeing your domain name in snow. This is for advanced, beer-fueled SEOers only. Pro tip: don't eat the yellow snow!

Thanks

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

What's your excuse?

Always wanted a link from Google Earth! Now, I know how. Will implement tonight, will soar in SERPs tomorrow. I'm getting all tingly at the thought of all the money that's coming in in 2 days.

OP. Thanks for starting this thread. You're awesome!

PageRank depends on the remarkably majority rule nature of the web by utilizing itslink structure as a marker of an individual page's worth. So SEO is very much vital for page rank.
