ROTFLMAO! I guess that PPC thingy in Chennai is a big failure!

Just more clueless spammers from you know where.

As far as the OP, the question is like asking,

"Gee...I want to be a brain surgeon, but it requires medical school!
Dang those things! How can I be brain surgeon without med school?"

If you choose to WANT your site to be found, in search results,
in GOOGLE, well then what the frick are you going to do?

Google has NOTHING to do with your website, or if it gets any traffic.

It's entirely up to you how you choose to generate traffic.

Not quite. My Be A Brain Surgeon In 3 Days course is a measly $999.97. A brain surgeon diploma will run you another $277. In other words, you're set for life for less than $1500.

My cheapest SEO package will run you $1500 monthly and it only gets you a Hi, how you doin' today? from me, over the phone.

I think the OP'd be better off buying my brain surgery stuff.

The questions I keep having, where do people come up with all these questions: Can I have grilled chicken without chicken
Can I rank in search engines without SEO?
Can I SEO a page without any search engine optimization?
        What is search engine optimization?
        What is water?

The list is long... so a lot of people have been applying themselves. But why?

Do you mean you want to optimize a site to bing's search engine only?

It can be done. Make sure you don't allow your site to be indexed by the search engines. Get more links from bing/msn based websites. Those are the two factors that you want to consider in order for google not to see your site but you will rank high with bing.

You can get traffic from Bing and Yahoo also but it can not compare with Google. I hope Bing and Yahoo will reach 50%, at that time Google will not dominate US search market. We will have more chances.

Strange question as since Google is possibly bigger than all the other search engines combined...

I don't know enough about the algorithm of Bing/Hahoo to comment but it's obviously the next biggest search engine.

Sure, just write a .htaccess script that 301s all traffic from Google, back to Google, then do SEO as normal.

Just send the traffic back to Google.

      Who wants their traffic anyways?

See my signature for the script.

          The code is:

          Code:
          RewriteEngine On
          RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} .*google.*$
          RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.google.com/
It goes in your .htaccess file

The script redirects traffic from Google, back to Google, why on earth would you ever want to do that?

So you're clear on what that script does,

The visitor searches Google and finds your site, they click the link, they go to your site, the script runs and redirects them back to Google...

If you put that script in your .htaccess file, your site will never receive any traffic from Google, ever.

You won't even see the traffic in analytics, because the page won't even load.

Tip: If you can't understand what a piece of code does (especially the code in your .htaccess file) don't play around with it...

    Hey!

Are you asking how to optimize in other search engines?

If so, I can be of some assistance. I cannot speak for Yahoo, but in my experience Bing tends to favour slightly more aggressive anchor text ratios. For example, 1/3 of your anchor text when backlinking could be your exact match keyword, which is crazy. I really wouldn't go any higher, however.

This doesn't really work in Google at all, but I've had a website second from the top on the front page of Bing for a relatively competitive lawyer related search term for months now using this method.

Of course, links from websites that have great metrics are still highly important.

Bing be a joke, I be pretty sure tools like Article Marketin' Robot still set the sails fer Bing.

I would test that out but I would have to dig me copy 'o AMR out 'o th' dumpster.

Yeah. I agree that it is definitely easier, though the general consensus is that Bing generates anywhere from 20-30 ish percent of search traffic, so I think that it is still important to consider proper optimization.

search engines aside, you can focus on social media. The big social platforms have search engines and are used quite a bit. Focus on those. More users in social media platforms today than search engines, one could argue.

The thing is, Google has a whopping 96% marketshare. And besides that, a lot of search engines copy what Google does. So even if you want to do SEO for other search engines, youre probably optimizing for Google automatically too.

The whole list is crap. You giving "thanks" is telling everyone you are truly clueless.

You can do seo without google.

Just do the opposite of everything they suggest.
That'll show 'em! Get your site deindexed.

        Done and done.

Then start doing seo with no worries about google.

As majority of the traffic use Google we obviously have to optimize for the users on that search engine. For that we have to use Google Page optimization tools like GKP, Adwords and Analytics, etc. But on the same grounds the optimization for other search engines also is taken care of on large scale.

I dont understand "SEO without google". If you are talking about other search engines like Bing you have got your answer But if you are talking about traffic without google/SEO I can suggest you to do these.....
Guest posts, this will be my first option. Over a year, guest posting has got more attention than ever. It is the easiest and fastest way to get targeted traffic without SEO. More over, a smartly planned guest posting campaign will also benefit you in terms of branding, and back link.

Slide presentation, though this seems traditional way, a presentation with attractive slides can bring more traffic and leads to your business. If you’re more concerned about leads than traffic, start creating a slide or hire a designer. I recommend Slideshare.net to share your slides, as this can bring more exposure to your slides. You can check out the Harsh’s profile on Slideshare, where he utilized his webpage to PDF technique, to create slides for SlideShare.
Video marketing, not just advertising videos, try with few how-to videos and share it on social networking sites. It can definitely attract more traffic to your blog or website

You are as clueless as the others.

You have no idea how the world wide web works.

Do you not know about Chinese censorship?

Do you not know about China?

Like, um, people here have Chinese websites, hosted in China, aimed at the Chinese people?

So, go ahead! Target that audience!

FYI: People in China have a hard time using google, because it's banned...
(They can get around it if they are resourceful, and many do)

Of course they block a zillion other things, like twitter, dropbox, many newspapers, ....to
name a few off the top of my head...

Sometimes I wonder if you people have any knowledge of the world at all!

Now, other people outside china use baidu.

My sites are in it. That fact is completely meaningless.

Many sites would not pass the Chinese censorship blocking millions of sites.

Oh, they can use pirate bay! But then, China encourages rip offs.
