Hi guys

Forgive me for being such a newbie with this question. I'm still learning a lot of aspects of affiliate marketing everyday. Is it worth it to hire someone to do link building for a website? I'm just asking because it seems to be a simple process but I see some people claim to be seo experts and claim to get you on high pr sites that you otherwise couldnt. I'm not sure how much of this is white hat, but is it worth it or just do it yourself?

You can either buy a fish or learn how to fish. If you're new go for low competition keywords, you can literally rank with a few comment links.

I don't agree with you comment links do not pass any link juice. Even the do-follow ones pass negligible amount of link juice. So, they are not going to help.

As you are a newbie don't hire somebody to build links for you. As if they spam you you are not going to notice. The best option for you is to guest post on your fellow niche sites. If you are not confident enough that your posts will get accepted then hire some good copywriter.

There are a few ways you can do that:
    1. Submit to link directiories - you can start submitting your website to some link directory (there are a huge number of these directories nowadays). And there are many free link directories. But any of directories can make your page rank of the site increase quickly. You can submit to Yahoo or DMOZ, but these directories are expensive.
    2. You can find an expert link builder. This expert can help you to rank up your website on the major SE like Google, Bing or Yahoo. But it is better for you to make a research first before you hire a link builder in order to avoid being blacklisted by the SE.
    3. Link baiting. It is a method to entice incoming links to your site. To make this, you must write original and unique content articles on your website. As a result, more people will be interested to place their links on your website if you provide them what they need.
