Can some one please elaborate

Why Search engine is giving more priority to Off-Page SEO as comparison to On-Page SEO ? and that is affecting your ranking ultimately.

      Yes That I do understand, that is powerful that's why providing priority.But in on-page we can modify every thing in dashboard. and as well as we can make our site more powerful by providing page titles, internal linking, meta tags & descriptions, etc.

      Still why search engine is giving more priority to off-page???

    Both on-page and off-page activities are equally important. If your website is not fulfilling the basic requirements to rank on search engines result page then there is no meaning to applying off page activities to boost website traffics. On page activities do not have major changes in website later on, while off page activities go long way and various new activities are performed by SEO analyst.

    No matter what, backlinks are still king.

    Make sure they are from trusted, relevant sites in your niche and you'll do well.

    A handful of great links will do more than 1,000's of crappy links.

    Most of the activities in Off Page SEO are concerned about building quality back links and back link profile plays more important role in Google's ranking algorithm then On Page optimization. Popularity of your website is directly connected to number of quality back links thats why Off page is more important then On Page SEO for search engines.

    Why would you give more priority to onpage? And, how would you decide who to put at #1 and who at #2 when they both have perfect onpage optimization?

    You need another factor, don't you?

    Backlinks is that other factor.

    And, since some backlinks in the world come from people other than the owner of the site they link to, it's a good/better? indicator of the site's value to people other than the owner of the site.

    Think of it this why? Why don't onpage factors determine who's the president of the United States? Why bother with votes?

    Both are important but off-page SEO is an activity which we do on a regular basis and on-page has been done once in a year or 6 months. No doubt, Our more focus remain on off-page. But you can not neglect on-page as well.
