A question on PBN's

I have an inventory of aged domains between 5-12 yrs old most of which google has indexed 1 page as many of them are parked and/or listed for sale.


I am thinking of using these as a PBN as the vast majority of the domain names relate closely to the niche that I am trying to rank for


The niche is not affiliate sales related


If I go shopping for domains related to this particular niche I know that it will be very difficult to find related domains with backlinks that have not been spammed to death or has a TF/CF Ratio anywhere near 0.8 let alone 1.0 more having spent hours on Domcop already



So my question is:


As none of the domains in my inventory do not have any incoming links to them is there any point in using these domains in a PBN or would I be putting in a lot of effort for little or no mileage

    They won't rank any pages without having decent backlink profiles on each of the domains.

      Hi Yukon,

      So are you saying because these domains basically have no history and no backlinks coming into them they have no authority or juice to pass on to the money site?

      Would they still count as a link through Googles eyes though despite them not have any influence

        Yep, that's what I'm saying...

        Backlinks from webpages that don't have their own supporting backlinks will not rank pages. If you want proof, test it, the links won't rank your pages for anything remotely competitive on the SERPs.

    Hi mate,

    If you can get these domains that contain your keyword and link them to your site that will help you. Sites that include your keyword and link to you have good effects nowadays and the doamins dont really need to be that strong.
