I am going to start a new website. My target is that, near future i am going to establish it as authority/brand-able type website.
Affiliate target will be mainly Amazon.

I am thinking to buy SSL for this domain from Namecheap who are offering ssl less than $10.
Will it create any SEO benefit? Or should i buy SSL for this kind affiliate niche website?

I have seen few website which have https but always have a orange type notification(from mozila firefox only and not seen this on Chrome) when i click their it say "parts of this page are not secure(Such as images)".
For niche type site this is not good sign.

Overall, i am not thinking about my visitor. I am thinking only about SEO benefit. Because it will not be an Ecommerce site rather normal niche type amazon affiliate website.
I have found only one of my competitor have ssl. I guess, he is getting benefit(little) from it(Not sure).

Guys need suggestion from you.

N.B: Recently, Moz claims that 32% website are dominating at the page one which have ssl. 2 year ago it was only 8%

Yes, the Google starts giving a ranking signal for an HTTPS / SSL website and it's a benefit for SEO webmasters.

The SSL certificate is a secure encrypted protocol encrypts the private data passed between a web server and browsers. If your website is dealing with any private data of customers like usernames, passwords, email id, physical address, etc. then SSL is mandatory.

As you considered in your answer, you have not an ecommerce site, so you can install any domain validation or basic SSL certificate from an SSL reseller like Namecheap.

An Orange Type Notification from Mozilla Firefox

A gray padlock with a yellow warning triangle shows that the connection between the website and Firefox is only partially encrypted, it doesn't prevent snooping.

You can get more about it from their official support page - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...rning-triangle

this is not such a big cost to buy a certificate on more expensive, consider how much saving when you lose when your site opens in a browser or not renewed in the old Android

Yes, I have seen that SSL warning. But how to solve that 'non secure content error of ssl' has described here very nicely that will help developers.

SSL certificate is good for both visitor as well as SEO benefit too. It will not harm your website in term of visitors but will improve customer's trust towards your website.
