Ranking Coach - is it TOO comprehensive??

Hi all,
I'm looking for a bit of guidance and personal opinion. I recently thought I was doing the right thing and took a shortcut to creating a new website. Instead of putting time, effort and money into it, I used a GoDaddy template with the built-in SEO tool just to get my presence out there online. As time has gone on though, this proved to have been the worst thing I could have done in today's crazily competitive SEO world. The template doesn't even allow blog uploads which is just ridiculous (almost think there should be a disclaimer stating this!)

It was totally my inexperience that led to this but I'm learning, and currently in the process of building a new Wordpress hosted site to rectify this and basically start again.
So, with minimum experience in the area, but maximum capacity to learn, I have been looking at using some tools to complement my new website when that goes live and I'm heavily drawn to Ranking Coach as an aid for my online marketing/SEO.

My problem now that I've been burnt is that I'm wary of things that appear to be 'designed for the beginner' and 'no previous experience necessary' as that's who the GoDaddy template is aimed at and it proved to be totally useless for my needs.

I was wondering if anyone has used Ranking Coach and if so, can you offer me your personal opinion on how useful it is. I'm a bit of a beginner in this area and I'm figuring it out as I go due to new-business (lack of) cash flow so I want to make sure that any subscriptions that I sign up for are going to be beneficial.

My goal is to get my site further up the search engine rankings.

Any advice will be gratefully received! Thank you

Looks like sales hype to me considering they say you don't need to use HTML.

    Save your money.

Do I have to be able to use HTML to use rankingCoach?
No! The individual tasks are so easy that anyone can do them - even without HTML knowledge.
Looking for shortcuts and wondering why you get burnt isn't a smart move. Take the time to learn SEO If you actually want to rank pages on the SERPs.

      Thanks Yukon,
Yes, I definitely learnt my lesson and won't take shortcuts anymore. With limited knowledge in the area I just wanted confirmation that this was indeed, just a shortcut.

      Thanks for the valuable feedback

Ok, this is getting kind of crazy, I wrote 2 days ago and my post disappeared. I wrote again yesterday, and it's gone again. Is someone deleting my posts? Why? Kind of shady to silence someone who is trying to address their concerns. I saved what I wrote yesterday, so I am going to repost it:

My name is Bridger and I am the English content manager for rankingCoach.

We never try to show people shortcuts, we always tell people that any good online marketing and SEO plan requires lots of hard work. We have lots of video tutorials that show you what to do in your CMS / website builder. We say that people don't need to know HTML because our video tutorials should be able to guide anyone through the necessary steps in your CMS or other, simpler SEO tasks involving HTML. Otherwise, we cover both GoDaddy and Wordpress in our video tutorials, along with many other systems as well, and our tasks are always aimed at explaining why you should do a task, and then showing you how to do it. As such, we try to cater to people with little to no knowledge of SEO, as our video tutorials and reports are all quite detailed.

There is a 14 day trial so you can see how rankingCoach works for yourself.

I admittedly am not a regular of this website, but I will try to monitor this thread for a few days. Otherwise, the best way to get a hold of us with any questions or issues would be to email us at support-en@rankingcoach.com
