Ranking Coach - is it TOO comprehensive??
- SEO |
I'm looking for a bit of guidance and personal opinion. I recently thought I was doing the right thing and took a shortcut to creating a new website. Instead of putting time, effort and money into it, I used a GoDaddy template with the built-in SEO tool just to get my presence out there online. As time has gone on though, this proved to have been the worst thing I could have done in today's crazily competitive SEO world. The template doesn't even allow blog uploads which is just ridiculous (almost think there should be a disclaimer stating this!)
It was totally my inexperience that led to this but I'm learning, and currently in the process of building a new Wordpress hosted site to rectify this and basically start again.
So, with minimum experience in the area, but maximum capacity to learn, I have been looking at using some tools to complement my new website when that goes live and I'm heavily drawn to Ranking Coach as an aid for my online marketing/SEO.
My problem now that I've been burnt is that I'm wary of things that appear to be 'designed for the beginner' and 'no previous experience necessary' as that's who the GoDaddy template is aimed at and it proved to be totally useless for my needs.
I was wondering if anyone has used Ranking Coach and if so, can you offer me your personal opinion on how useful it is. I'm a bit of a beginner in this area and I'm figuring it out as I go due to new-business (lack of) cash flow so I want to make sure that any subscriptions that I sign up for are going to be beneficial.
My goal is to get my site further up the search engine rankings.
Any advice will be gratefully received! Thank you
