Did anyone else lose Anglie's List backlink 2016?

Well it appears as though Angie's List has changed their website massively.

We lost our Anglie's List backlink two weeks ago and never got it back. This in turn dropped my clients website down significantly in the SERPS.

I looked at one of their competitors and noticed they lost their Anglie's List backlink as well.

Did this happen to anyone else? Is this the new norm? has anyone been able to reacquire the backlink?

Thanks for the read, you would think since it made searching free i would get even more backlinks because now its visible to everyone and googlebots. It's strange i lost all our backlinks, we used to have 5, now 0.

According to what did you lose the links?

Do you still have indexed URLs on Angie's List with links to the site? If so, then you still have links from them.

If Moz, Majestic, Ahrefs, or some other similar service is telling you that there are no links there, they are not always accurate.

Well, maybe they will learn. What value did you give your "client"?

I can't believe it's this easy to get clients to fork over money.

I mean seriously. Angie's list? And they PAID YOU for THAT?!?!?!??!!?!?!?!??!?!?

You have got to be kidding. They paid you for nothing.

wtf are you talking about. none of that makes sense.

I get paid looking for backlink opportunities, targeting handpicked keywords via on page SEO, writing for their blog, and analyzing our backlink profile.

In our niche angielist brings in over 50% of our customers. so even without the backlink we will still be using angieslist. but the backlink was just an added boost to help with our organic visibility.

Why are you saying they paid me for angieslist? In fact, they were using angieslist long before they hired me..

Why do you have to flame me when im here trying to get advice.. I would think someone with high status here would take a different approach. what value are you giving this forum when you do this..
