What Do You Think of This Web 2.0 Backlink Strategy?

Buy 5 expired tumblr and 5 expired weebly blogs for direct links to your money site. Then using new web 2.0s, bookmarks, social signals, image sharing sites, and doc sharing sites for tier 1 links to the expired blogs.

I'm using it to rank a client for a local search term. What do you guys think of this method? I'm a little bit wary of throwing fiverr social signals directly at my client's site, but other than that it seems like a good strategy to me.

what do you guys think? anything you would do different?

i've used brightlocal to submit to the top 100 citations, so i'm ahead of the competition there. just need to increase domain authority and backlinks.

Web 2.0 are one of the best way to build links.
Just make sure you create quality web 2.0 and have several posts on each web 2.0.
Treat your web 2.0 as you treat your money sites.

I don't buy anything if I'm not guranteed with any good results and why buy it if you can create fresh web 2.0 sites in free blog hosting sites. Just make sure, the contents are well writtern and original and do not spam.

Did the Web 2.0 thing.....a couple of years ago.

Have you done this before? It's sometimes quite a bit harder to not get them deleted over time than you might otherwise expect.

Personally, I find that actually building links which fit within Google's guidelines is just as easy as gaming the system. Have you tried any basic outreach for your clients site yet?

I suppose I have not! What type of basic outreach would you suggest?

make sure DA is high for these web 2.0 links and brightlocal citations tracker links are good for this purpose for local biz but you also need niche citations. and NAP should be consistent on web and any wrong NAP listing should be deleted or fixed to correct NAP and duplicates should be eliminated.

Web 2.0 sites are good if you don't get caught by the search engines. My suggestions is that don't buy them try to build them by yourself.

I'd buy 10 powerful expired domains instead if your budget allows, you will see a much more positive effect.

The specialty is, Web2.0’s Gain authority super fast! Meaning, if you know how to do it, then your Web2.0 will gain immense authority in no time, and then you can pass a lot of other metrics, including the authority and trust to your primary site. So try to build quality web 2.0 & post at least 20 . And use related tag in your blog with picture.

It's a very good strategy, I use it all the time to rank my affiliate site :-)

I use 5 expired Tumblr and 5 expired Weebly in month one.

In month 2 I create a new web 2.0 link wheel with exact match keyword in the web 2.0 sub domain URL.

I also do 5 doc share and some image share backlinks in month 2.

In month 3 I do 15 backlinks from different sub domain expired Tumblr blogs with lots of backlinks pointing to them.

Also before I start all of this, I do some social signals.

I mix up my anchor text like this:

    exact match anchor
    url

Works a treat for me, on the correct keywords anyway.

One: you're using sites/pages you don't have full control over; they could be taken away from you.

Two: what helps with ranking is getting links from pages that have links.

Think about rivers. Little river #1 runs into little river #2. Number 2 is not that little anymore. If a few more little rivers run into it, you end up with the Wisconsin River. If the Wisconsin River and a few other rivers like it run into another river, you end up with the Mississippi.

If no little or large rivers ran into the Mississippi, it would be a small river forever.

If only small ones, rivers that have no rivers running into them, would run into the Mississippi, it would still be a small river.

If this is for a client, please be careful. You don't want to receive a penalty.

A piece of advice, connect to different IPs/proxy every time you work with different Webs 2.0

I know it's tedious, but if you get into the habit, you will reduce risks incredibly.
