Why do you need two sitemaps?
As far as I know, multiply sitemaps is something you need only do for a very large site.

No Problem, You could add two sitemap for a site.
But, Sitemap should not contain identical URL.

You can have as many sitemaps as you want so long as all the listed URLs are in a sub directory or a common location as the sitemap. What matters here is to ensure that the sitemaps shouldn't have URLs from parent directories or entirely dissimilar directories. In the event that the above happens, the metadata won't be trusted because it won't be certain that the submitter has any control over the URL's directory.

Why would you even have multiple site maps. A sitemap is a sort of "one source of truth" if you will. I've never heard of having more than one sitemap.

Sometimes, websites are so large, you really need to break site maps up into smaller chunks. In a Search Console help article, Google says "Break up large sitemaps into a smaller sitemaps to prevent your server from being overloaded if Google requests your sitemap frequently. A sitemap file can't contain more than 50,000 URLs and must be no larger than 10 MB uncompressed."
