Hello everyone,

I'm newbie, i have big problems:

What is going "wrong" is ... When the search phrase "game online" is indexed by Google, my "game offline" page is being indexed instead. The page that SHOULD be indexing, is the "game online" page (not the game offline page - this is the wrong search phrase)

How to fix it?

    thats about the worst BS i read in a long time.

    Mate, check:

    1) “game online” is indexed by Google
    2) my “game offline” page is being indexed instead.

    you do speak the anglais?

    now concentrate, and try again

    You mean you have pages ranking for the wrong keywords?

    Common - particularly with new sites, keep building strong links and make sure your On Page is all OK it will sort itself out.

    The best way to get around this is to structure your site better. Create more keyword rich links within your site. One of the best ways Google is now taking into consideration is to use bread crumbs within your site.

    For example:

    Code:
        <ol>
          <li>
            <a href="http://www.example.com/books">Books</a> ›
          </li>
          <li>
            <a href="http://www.example.com/sciencefiction">Science Fiction</a>
          </li>
          <li>
            <a href="http://www.example.com/books/sciencefiction/awardwinners">Award Winners</a>
          </li>
        <ol>
    This will show Google what pages are more important then others. Not just this is also organizes your site for a better read by there search engines and your visitors. Also this will link your pages within your site with keywords.

    Also within your title you says "wrong page". If you are not wanting a page no longer indexed, remove it but make sure your site has a 404 page with a 'true' 404 code so next time the G Bot comes around your site it will remove it from there index. One way to speed this up is to have a Google Webmasters account and there is a section where you can remove pages from there search engines. But it will keep getting indexed if you have not remove the particular page with your site showing a 404 error page with the correct 404 error code.

    I hope this has helped.

    Best way is to demote your game offline page from GSC if you don't wanted to see it anymore in search reseult, also you can block Game offline page from robots.txt that will remove your Game offline page from organic search result in further crawling.

    Wrong pages get indexed some times. But you can correct it by building links to the correct one. And also try to spread the actual page through social media channels in this way it will get the attentions of the serach engine crawlers fast.

    What is going “wrong” is … When the search phrase “high heels” is indexed by Google, my “Sneakers” page is being indexed instead (and ranking very well, like #2). The page that SHOULD be indexing, is the “High heels” page (not the sneakers page – this is the wrong search phrase, and it’s not even on that product page – not in URL, not in H1 tags, not in title, not in page text – nowhere, except for in the top navigation link).
