I would like to find out where is the best place to put your Google Adsense Ads on your website?

      Anywhere that you think blends in and might make visitors think it is part of your content or theme. Generally this helps the most.

      It really depends on your site's layout.
      Generally, a 728x90 banner can go at the top of any site, or
      even at the bottom. Potential problem: People look more towards
      the middle than at the top. Put a header banner first, then a
      728 adsense below.

      Many people will tweak the above and make a 750px or so table.
      A large square graphic in one cell, large rectangle 336x280 in
      the other.

      Then right smack in the middle of your content, put a 468 banner.
      On the side, put a 160x600. I like right side for a rather good reason.
      Hint: Scrolling is on the right.

      I would never make the content of my page bleed past about 750-800
      pixels wide.

      I am not a fan of adsense blending in. Some people swear this works.
      I do not like adsense to blend. I want it in your face without being
      obtrusive. Hiding it does not seem to make much sense.

      But, you will get others who disagree and they may be right.
      At least for them. And that's the key issue. You need to find what
      looks and feels right to you.

      Some of you will love my tips, Some of you will not. Adense is really
      a "to each his own strategy". What works for one, will not necessarily
      work for all.

        I would be extremely careful about making your adsense ads blend in as it is somewhat of a gray line, bordering on violating Google's TOS.

        Adsense is the big brother. You can make a ton of money if you simply play by his rules, so PLAY HIS HIS RULES and you won't give him any reason to shut you down.

        As far as adsense placement, remember that the max CPC that was displayed in google keywords was just that -- the MAX cpc. This means that the ad(s) at the top of your page is the ad with that payout, not the ad at the bottom of your page. If you are using the max number of allowed ad blocks (which is three), then the highest ad on your website may be paying out $4.32 per click, while the lowest ad is paying out $0.05 per click.

        Do whatever you want, but I just place one single 250x250 ad block at the top of my page. It only display three ads, but all three of them give a much higher payout.

          Hey those pretty good tips too. I like the 728 as
          it is easier to put in your website. That's why that tip
          in my post. Your other stuff is top notch and glad to
          see someone else not liking the adsense to blend away
          or should I say blend in as much. I thought more was better,
          but your 250x250 tips sounds like something worth doing.

          If your site is giving perfect keyword ads on every load,
          then I would also go as far as to say just put one ad unit
          at the top.

    1 Adblock (336 x 280) above the content and below the title.

    Be sure to have some text in between the two if you feel uneasy
    about this.

    That will protect your as far as Adsense's TOS is concerned.
