What to do with my ecommerce backlinks?

Hi everyone,
I have a skateboard ecommerce and I have already start with backlinks, creating me a big doubt.

for example:

I have KW - "vans tshirt" ranking on 14th for URL: domain.com/vans.html

But my vans tshirt are on- domain.com/vans/tshirt.html URL but the KW "vans tshirt" is ranking for domain.com/vans.html

Should I give the backlink to domain.com/vans/tshirt.html or domain.com/vans.html ?

    Concentrate on fitting the title, description and content on particular pages at the phrases you want to be high in Google. These phrases should also build backlinks.

    Just the fact that you state that you have control over where these links will point tells me that they are not very good links. Pretending they are good links, they should go to whatever page you have optimized best for that keyword phrase.

    That means your tag or menu page is ranking instead of main page. If you ask me you should build new backlinks to domain.com/vans/tshirt.html

    And the other page will definitely give you boost in rankings.
