a cool backlink strategy i'm implementing today

Hi warriors

I just want to tell everybody about an idea i got today when browsing some blogs

all we know that most commentors on dofollow blogs are looking for backlinks so why not grab their url go to yahoo site explorer and expose all their backlinks

what do you think?

    I've this one before, used some tools to check backlinks of other sites, and the results.. enough to make my website raise its PR by 2 notches, it's effective but it also has it's limits and not all backlink checkers show all the backlinks a website has.

    And it is time consuming also....But it is a worth while strategy. I am all for creating systems and then getting them outsourced.

    Here is an idea:

    I frequently get spam comments on my blogs. These spam comments are more than likely coming from a software that spams as many links at sites as possible in hopes that a few stick. Just check out the where their links are.

      That's not a bad idea. It will probably bring up blogs that are not monitored, but what you'll have to remember is that do you really want to have your site associated with all those spammy links that link to god knows where. I guess as long as you are not linking to these sites yourself then it can't do any harm.

      I've set up a few blogger spam magnets (auto approve the comments, allow as many backlinks as you want, etc.) and they let you discover quite a few footprints.

      Also look at the results of 'buy viagra' and similar, to find starting points. Warning tho: some of these leads lead to a whole cascade of back links and you'll be busy for days getting all the good stuff sorted

    This is common practice and what you should all be doing anyway. Copy the top sites within your niche and go to the places they go to to get links. It's a kind of reverse engineering tactic that has been around for years. That's what SEO Elite, Web Comp Analyst and my own tool is all about. It's all about thinking smart.
