Fellow warriors,

Is the google sandbox the end of a blog or site ?

What if any symptms are there of being in the sandbox?

The reason for asking is one blog is taking longer than normal to index and my website in the webmasters tools none of the recent backlinks are showing yet 3 or 4 days afterwards.

Any advice please

Pete

    James,

Thanks for that and I am guessing by blacklist google would close your account and or deindex the site completly and forever.

    Best wishes

Just build more steady and natural links and everything will be ok - Sandboxing happens to most of the sites, especially in the beginner stage... - depending on your niche you should be out of there after 2 or 3 months...

If you can't find your url in SERP, try site:yourdomain.com or info:yourdomain.com, if they exists, you are still in the index

Your site has to be indexed before it can get sandboxed. So, if you haven't been indexed yet, then you are not in the sandbox.

It may just be coincidence, but lately I have found my sites getting indexed faster if I don't place them in Google Webmaster Tools first. I just wait until after the site is indexed.

If you can find some keywordluv, commentluv, top commenter sites that have do follow to post to as soon as you bring your site up, your site will be indexed very quickly. In my case it took about 3-4 days and my sites were indexed.
