Strange Problem - No Traffic from Search Engines

Hi,

In the last six months, I have posted 500+ articles on my website.

I share my new articles on social media sites and get some traffic (Source: Google Analytics) from there.

But surprisingly, even after 500+ articles in the last six months, I get no search traffic.
Yes. I got 0 (zero) visitors from Google, Bing, Yahoo! etc. in the last 30 days.

I checked Google Webmaster Tool and there is no error there.

Do you have any idea what's wrong?

Any suggestion?

Thanks.

Sorry to break it to you but you have a very generic website trying to focus on extremely competitive keywords. You won't be able to rank and get traffic unless you build a lot of links to the site, which will probably take at least a year.

A better way to approach this would be to choose a specific niche where the competition isn't too high and then write targeted articles. You will still have to do link building though.

      Thanks for your reply.

I can wait for a year and keep adding articles. No problem.
This is my long term project and I am not expecting any break-even now.

My concern is - I got 0 (zero) traffic within the last 30 days which seems to be strange.

So, I was wondering what's wrong.

Just posting articles does nothing to help your rankings, without which you will never get any organic traffic. You need to come up with a plan to target keyword phrases that have a decent amount of searches and competition that isn't difficult. Until you do that, all the articles in the world aren't going to help and you will likely need more high quality backlinks than you will ever be able to obtain.

You need alot of SEO work. I would not recommend you to wait for a whole year and keep investing in articles. Instead Now stop creating content and now focus on SEO, promotion and marketing to derive traffic.

Btw I can help you in SEO of this site if you are interested. I have a couple of new sites Atomic Wrist Watches and http://wifiroutrereviews.info I am also at beginning but my keywords started appearing in search results.

You have a site based in Singapore - want to appeal to English speaking countries - and you have hired second language writers. That's clear from glancing at the first page.

You have a site clearly featuring a few various 'niches' you think have high traffic, high payout. Words are spelled wrong, some sentences don't make any sense, the articles are not interesting to read.

The person above- offering "SEO"- has a similar site with a headline of "importance of hairs in personality" and text as below...

Who can deny the importance of scalp hair! Scalp here are the most precious possession that men and women can ever have. They are a like a treasure that stays with men and women till they die because no one steal them or snatch them from them.
It is an uncomfortable truth - but if you want to SELL to a certain demographic....you must speak their language. It doesn't matter if it is English, French, German or Chinese - you can't fake it.

It's sad to me that so many marketers work hard to build sites in English without the language skills to do it well....and miss potential opportunities of being trail blazers in the language of their own country.

You split each niche on each sub domain. Each sub domain is a different domain in google's eyes so you're not getting any "juice". It'd be better if you had
    wordchapter. com/niche1
    wordchapter. com/niche2
    wordchapter. com/niche3

and posts in each category, rather than posting in different sub domains.

You're right about that - and the watch site link you provided is well done with much better language usage.

I don't mean to be rude - truth is, a site with language problems is going to be a problem site as it will not get the results the site owner expects.

Doesn't mean the language must be perfect -there are some good sites online where there are obviously minor language mistakes but it doesn't matter because the content is good - unique - and interesting to read.

Not trying to be too critical or rude, but frankly, I read a few articles; it's just re-hashed stuff available in dozens if not hundreds of other places with no real value to anyone.

I didn't see anything that's awesome, helpful or having quality.

    Sorry.

You need to improve your content. Hire someone (from UK, US, Canada) proofread and convert it to real English. Add more photos, infographic. Research keyword and choose your targeted keyword. After that, add more quality backlinks. You site will be increase traffic.

Do you have any keywords focusing on your 500+ content page? If no, I think people don't know your site via search engine because your site doesn't show up when they search.

Search traffic is completely dependent on keywords you are targeting now the question is what is the niche and what are the keywords you are targeting. If your keywords have more searches and you are ranking high for them then definitely you can get traffic but if no one is searching for them or your rank is too low then there will be no traffic.

What you have done with your site SEO? Creating only content doesn't mean that you are getting a lot of traffic from Search Engine. You have to do some On page and Off page SEO with your site.

If you`re sure there are no errors in your GA account - check carefully if your articles rank high enough for any relevant keywords, also research the keywords and make sure they are being searched for. In case the articles appear in the search results and are not visited - consider revising your titles/descriptions to make sure all looks really relevant to the queries they are returned for.

Only article submission and blog posting won't help. You have to analyse your website and make a list of keywords, and you have to target that keywords according to category of the website. i.e. if your website is about food and you submit bunch of articles on shoes related category it will not affect.
