SE= for foreign websites

Hi

I only joined this forum recently, but sofar I've very impressed with the ressources contained here. I've been reading the threads of several WSO's which all seem great. However with my limited knowledge of SEO, I'm a bit worried that the techniques covered in the different WSO's won't be equally effective on my website, as it is a danish website targeting danish consumers.

Anyone in here that has any recommendations regarding this issue, of doing SEO on a non-english website, or any WSO in particular?

Any feedback is appreciated.

    I would also like an answer to that question.

    I have thought about it for a long time.

    I have heard that high PR backlinks coming from international sites also gives linkjuice to sites which are country specific.

    I would also say that in a country like Denmark which is pretty small it shouldn't be that hard to get a top 3 ranking

    Living in Norway. Cose neighbour...

    I use all the different free blogs available in norway. As we have a lot of common words I also sometimes step upon danish article directories and such. Use them to build backlinks as well.

    I bet you also have a few forums, communities where you can become a member and add your address etc.

    There are a lot of opportunity, and not that much competition.
