What is a good theme to use for SEO for Wordpress blogs? I would like to find out how to do SEO for Wordpress blogs, any freebies,tips would be helpful, thanks. I just need to understand how to do SEO to rank for keywords on my blog!

    Here's one: Customize permalinks to /%category%/%postname%/ rather than the ?p=whatever. I notice a lot of blogs that miss that one, and so for them the keywords aren't in the url.

      Blog frequently and build backlinks to main and inner pages. The great thing about Wordpress is that the SEs love this blogging platform.

      I've had success also by blogging with my main keyword phrases in the title and social bookmarking each individual post.

      Agree with him completely. All In One SEO Plugin is the best tool to perform SEO for wordpress blogs.

      Themes do not play any role in doing seo for the blog. Themes are only the structure and look of a blog and nothing more.

    As far as I know, themes don't affect your SEO performance. Themes are just the 'look' of your blog.

    I have all-in-one plugin, it's activated, but I don't see it changing my permalinks.

    I have used %postname% in the past, but I read in the WP Help that for performance that is NOT recommended.

    Wordpress theme differ only for the viewer's eye. So I'd say go for a ligher colors than using dark ones. like Black.
    Bcoz Research says darker themes are very difficult to read.
    If you want a good SEO theme go for some light green, blue , white themes.
