Does Posting articles on Articlebase will push your rank down?

I've read answer of peoples on MOZ Community that posting article on articlebase & linking your website url on it will harm your rank.

Is it?

    It is unlikely that it would harm your rank, but it is not going to help either. Why would you want to waste the time posting there.

    Mike is right. It won't do a thing good or bad for your rankings. The new Penguin changed any negative effect it may have had.

    Does ANYBODY really go there to read articles? Seems to be a place where publishers publish in a misguided effort to boost their SEO and the crickets chirp. If there is no SEO value, the only reason to publish anywhere is targeted traffic. ArticlesBase doesn't seem to provide that either.

    If you are linking your website on every article you are sharing then it wont have much positive effect and also your articles might get a push back instead you should post articles on articlebase like a normal user and not spam them.
