301 Redirect Keywords

Hello,

I have recently made a redirect from http to https protocol. The https version doesn't have any backlinks. The website is not a branded wesbite; is one blog post targeting specific keywords.

I have made backlinks to the initial http version and it has decent metrics which I can see that was transferred to the https version. I have built backlinks to the http version with specific anchor texts that I wanted to rank for.

Will the https version rank for the keywords that I targeted for the initial http version? The redirect will also be able to redirect the keyword specific value or just the metrics value?

    First, it's 301 redirect not 310 redirect.

Second, you need a very good reason to mess with a ranked page. Switching over to https just because you can isn't a good reason.

There's no guarantee your page/s will hold rank on Google SERPs during a redirect. You're gambling.
