all know that forum posting help in seo, But I am confused how forum posting help in seo means how forum posting drive traffic on our websites and help our keyword on top in google ranking.

Forum posting will drive traffic to your site.
For ranking, you need embed your links to the content of post.

Forum posting is not for rankings. Its for exchanging information. They are only good for referral traffic.

Most of the forums provide no-follow link and the least they do provide do-follow links they doesn't pass ny valued link juice to get you ranked.

Forum posting will not help directly but it will help google in understanding that you are being shared over different channels and this can give you a push.

Just make sure not to overdo it and go natural.

  Forum posting is not natural, and sig links are the only links that google ever talked about as far as anchor text goes. Your sig is a perfect example of what NOT to do.
  
  No matter, any forum worth its salt is nofollow, so you can't overdo it here, or anywhere else that matters.

Forums are created for exchanging information with other forum users.

It is not any ranking tool to increase your rankings on the SERP.
It is not a backlink tool to increase your website's backlinks.

You will get good knowledge on your query posted here. You will have a chance to share your knowledge on a topic you know about.

There are no any other benefits from posting on the Forums.

I think forum posting is a better method than other SEO practices. It does not allow to give promotional links so people cannot use it as a link building tool. But you can discuss and put your views. This is one of the best SEO practices. Moreover, forums like warrior forum, which is truly dedicated to SEO, is considered as a great platform to gather info related to this field. You get to know the latest news, the current trend following in SEO, what troubles you are facing and what can be the proper solution to it. Find forums online that are related to your sites niche and get involved within that community. Reply to threads, answer peoples questions, offer advice, etc. This all helps to build up your reputation as someone who is an expert within that niche. Try to use "Do-Follow" Forums so that you can include a link to your site within your signature, which helps search engines crawl your site.

You can't rely heavily on forum traffic but something (good, and not spam) is better than nothing. Regular forum posting can bring you some target traffic as well but depends upon what and where you post.

Whoever says that forum posts don't help is wrong. Referral traffic is from forums.
The links can help users searching for information get to it by using your links.
Apart from that no one actually knows how google ranks websites
I have tested with many forums and even no-follow links provide value to a website
No one is actually sure how a website is ranked so try your best by trial and testing.
PS: Guest posts are a better way of ranking

Forum posting will increase your visitors,because if your post is tempting,they will visit your link to find more information.But I don't think that it would do any help in SEO.
