in wordpress setting there are two option one for meta title and second for site name. so when you search directly your domain google fetch your sitename and show in to the your title and if you search directly your keyword google show your meta title with your link.

If that's true, then WP is more of a piece of sewage than I thought. Probably more of a case of you not knowing what the frick "meta" title is....or was. Meta title is useless.

No matter. You people just have no clue as to how the internet or google works.
(man I am a broken record saying that over and over....)

Depending how you search, google will chose whatever title and description they think it needs.

You want an example? Do a search for warriorforum.com.

Then do a search for best internet marketing forum.

Check each result for the warriorforum.com entry. Compare the two.

      Amazing, aint it?

But then, perhaps people just did not know that depending on how, when, what, where, and yes, why you search....google will tailor it for you.

The replies above are just so lame.

Cash me outside. How bout dah?

When I search for your website.com...I get your "wanted" description.

It can be the old description, any time when the Google Crawler visits your website by that time it stored your site information. That can be the cached content of previous data. So, I suggest you updating the titles and meta description, robots.text one more time and perform some good on page and off page SEO techniques. Definitely, you will come out of this situation within one week.

      Hello Sophia,
The major problem is that these two sites are hosted on the same server, internal links getting indexed with links as you see in the screen shot, if we click these urls points to 404 not found, the titles, meta description of internal pages adding as a internal pages to url and cache version is same as pages and effecting the Keyword ranks. kindly suggest.

You have to submit your site in search engine submission sites to index it again & again & pick up right Meta tags.

Sometimes Google chooses the most related description (due to confusion) within your site page and then include in the snippet as well as providing in search results.
