Domain help/advice

Hi everyone!

I am looking at launching a website in my niche and I have had a hard time finding a domain (TLD) for this. I then thought of a domain ending with .ly (from a branding POV it's pretty cool)

My audience is Western Europe, Australia, . Does anyone know the current disadvantages of ranking in these regions using a .ly domain?

Would appreciate any input!

    Shouldn't be too bad. I'm from Australia and see this domain extension from time to time. You need to mainly focus on the title, meta description, and keywords within your content. Also, you can select a geolocation within Google Webmasters letting Google know your preferred location geographical. I hope this has helped.

    I think You need to mainly focus on the title, meta description, and keywords within your content.
    Then you have to SEO offpage if you want your site on the top

    Specific TLD will limit you to specific area which is not what
    you would want if you want to expend your business around WWW
