These metrics are third party ones they won't help you for ranking your site's pages.

Don't care about these things just publish good, useful and unique content along with quality backlinks from high authority sites of your niche. And you will do just fine.

Google doesn`t really care for those, and doesn`t take them into account while ranking websites. So these are not the metrics you should rely on to make any major decisions. And also not the ones you should desperately aim to improve for your site, cause PA/DA rates are always relative to other sites - so DA, for instance, indicates how your site compares to sites with DA 100, and not to your direct competitors.

However, with link-building it can be used for the quick filtering of potential prospects you find - not like you should be sure of their quality in case these metrics are high, but you probably can dismiss the prospects whos PA/DA and trustflow are too low.

    What don't you understand?

They are just 3rd party metrics trying to make guesses at the value of a page.

My advice is to ignore all that nonsense. Focus on building relationships with the site owners you would benefit the most from if they linked to you.
