Did I run into a PBN?

Just got ahrefs, figured this was the next best step in becoming more advanced with SEO knowledge. Anyhow, being relatively new to understanding PBN's and the importance of backlinks, when I was researching a competitors backlinks and tried to get onto a guest blog, though there where a vast amount of posts and new ones at that, when I tried to use the contact form to contact the owner, they would not let me, said somethin like, cant leave a message try again later, but this message was not just on one of the guest blogs that I found but the first three that I attempted. Did I run into a PBN? If not why am i not able to contact any of these sites?

    The answer is simply... maybe.

    There's not enough information to know for sure one way or the other. Without seeing the sites, nobody will be able to answer for you.

    Maybe its a PBN.

    But what we can tell!!! I have seen many sites whose contact pages are just too hard to find and when you found it its just too hard to submit the ticket.

    You could try seeing if the WHOIS info is the same on them (if they haven't hidden it) and also look to see if there is a phone number on any of them but in the end, it's a waste of time..

    Bottom Line: It really doesn't matter what it is if you can't get an article published or a link.
