UsFreeAds and Google SERPs

Does Google have a policy of bumping UsFreeAds postings down the SERPs?

I was able to get into some 2nd and 3rd ranks for Keywords about 4 hours after postings, then the ads would decay by about 1 rank every 8 hours until each got buried to where I stopped caring to track.

I've heard of peeps having some success by using the ads for very specific tasks, but I just don' see how that can be if G is slapping every ad.

I think Google has created a special algorithm to drive out marketers from the SERPS and over to Adwords.

It's very difficult to nail down what the big G wants. I see so many people claiming they have the answer but when you check out their rankings they are nowhere to be found.

There are few SEO people I can recommend, and Vita Vee is one special cookie.

He has a forum and of course the big G can guide you there.

    Good luck.

Well, a usfreeads ad is still #1 on Google for one of the search terms that I just started going after. It has been in that spot everytime I have checked over the last couple of months. Obviously just one case, but it appears that some still are thriving with it on Google.

I'm wondering if something changed within the rank algorithm that grandfathered previous ads. There was another ad that targeted the same keywords, it has maintained a 1st page ranking since I've been watching things. It wasn't as high as I got initially, but it didn't decay like mine.

What's surprising - the ad is EXPIRED - and has been for months now.

I wonder if they posted links to the ad using those keywords as the anchor text.

Last I heard US Free Ads started using no follow tags, but just what I read. Backpage and Craigslist are just as powerful for getting your ads indexed by G. CL being the most powerful, but I don't think they use do follow tags in all of their pages, just some.

Your posts jumped up in the rankings because they were new - Google rewards fresh content. Then as they got older and had no ranking power, they dropped off the listings. No mystery, no conspiracy.

So based on what you are saying, is I should expect it to climb the SERPs as it ages? The ad that is sticking has very poor copy for SEO. Literally a few sentences and a CB link without anchored text. I have a presale page that has about 4% keyword density H1, H2 and strong tags.

I've heard of the fresh content boost, however I questioned it's validity due to some claims of other PR5 2.0 properties getting high SERP in hours - and it sticks. Maybe like previously mentioned, there is some backlinking going on there to boost things.

But judging from other people's success with UsFreeAds, they don't convert well - Maybe I'd be wasting my time by backlinking to it?

After the first few hours the site will go very high up the search engine, even to the first page. Then it will decline of even fall away from view but after a day or so it will return to first or second page.

I have been using this and it always has this pattern

    good luck
