What are the best methods to rank a newly created wordpress website?

I have recently created a website and I want to rank and generate some traffic for my website (as it is a new website I don't want to spend any money at this stage).

What are the best methods to get started? I have read some articles regarding this but I'm not sure where I should begin. Please help.

    Use organic methods and dont try to do excessive link building. Choose a prfect digital marketing mix according to your website niche. Start with White hat SEO, and social media marketing.

    Create an XML sitemap for your site.
    Submit to Google
    Index your site

    Your site will start appearing and ranking on Google shortly afterward.
    Especially given the fact that you are providing quality content.

    After that, what you can do is give meta descriptions and keywords for each of your posts and pages on your site.
