Time Period to Attain PageRank

I have one site which i've been working hard on like building links, using specific keywords and submitting to directories.. i usually do these tasks every day with the hope that this one would have a pagerank someday above 0.

how long does it usually takes to get PageRank, even just PR 1. In your case how many months before your site(s) was/were given by google a PageRank?

    PageRank is continually updated, but what you see on the toolbar is a snapshot that gets updated once every few months.

      2Dok, is your signature site just for adsense or are you really trying to create a proper travel site? With 7,107 beautiful island that I might want to visit, I need to know how to get there with accurate time tables. My next trip is plane, plane, taxi ,bus, ferry, motorcycle. I know when I land but after that its all up in the air. All those remote nicer places arnt well documented on the web (probably why they are still nice)
      adsense is just for supplementary earning on my part.. but my real goal for this other site of mine is to highlight the Philippines as a country of choice for tourists (i hope one amongst the top ).. but this site is just about 5 months old, and i started working on it rigorously for just a month only.. so it needs more effort and hard labor to fully push its way to the top of search and get more traffic..

      i agree with you that only the top spots in the Philippines are fully documented in the web, and for this reason one of my goals is to feature also in the site those yet undiscovered travel destinations in the country which has scenic panoramas..

      for now blue ice, you'll have to get extensive information about travel schedules and destinations from other travel-related site.. who knows? and i'm hoping that this site could be at par with those other top travel-related sites to fully cater to the needs of fun vacationists and travelers .
