PBNs have been favored tactic for a lot of IMs a few years ago. But do they work now in 2017?
And should one spend time for building himself PBN or looking for one to get links from?
Would like to hear your thoughts on the topic

    As long as links work to rank a page, a private network will work.

    I would never, ever buy links from a public network. If a network is selling links publicly, it is only a matter of time until it gets caught.

    PBNs are a big no as these are not quality links. Google will penalize you if it's crawler finds that these links are not of good quality.

      Do you not know that a good website that's part of a PBN is still a good website?

      Why do you assume that PBN sites must be lousy?

    If it is truly a PRIVATE blog network, you own it and nobody else can post on it. Once it starts becoming something that others can post to, it will eventually be discovered.
