Hi,

I am running a small E-commerce site using PHP and the Woocomerce Plugin. I am worried about my site's SEO because I am not a marketing expert.

What is the best way to boost the traffic? And is Woocommerce any good for E-commerce stores?

I see Wix, Weebly and Shopify all have huge communities and their stores support a lot for backlink development.

Thanks a million in advance

Steve

If you are using yoast seo plugin for your word press website and it will show your seo score before publishing a new product. Just try to make a green dot for each product listing. I am also using yoast for my engineering blog. It's really works great.

Stop worrying about SEO. Start promoting your products through different social media channels or paid PPC Campaigns. You can also use CPA campaigns in this way you will only have to pay when you get a sale.

There are several ways that you can go about with boosting your traffic, but first I would recommend you get the SEO thing sorted. Perhaps you can go through tutorials on Youtube to help you get started with things such as the Yoast plugin.

Alternatively, you can outsource your SEO to experts on Upwork. That would enable you focus your time and energy on other traffic building strategies. But if you're not in a position to outsource, then the best thing would be to educate yourself.

Also remember that SEO is not everything.

You can leverage social media to gain traffic. I'm not sure what your e-commerce store specifically deals with, but I am 100% certain that there are groups on Facebook, LinkedIn, G+, etc. which contain your ideal target market and would be likely to visit your site.

If you have got some money to spare, then you can also go for paid ads. At least that guarantees you traffic without having to go through extended learning curves.

I hope that is helpful. All the best!
