Is guest blogging the most effective off page strategy that can produce long lasting SEO ranking? Which off page SEO techniques have gone obsolete and which of them are working well right now?

    Guest post is indeed the best strategy to build network and get backlinks for our blog...doing guest post for high ranking blogs will surely help in increasing your blog rank in search engine...also blog commenting will help in generating healthy backlinks for your blog..!!

    Guest posting is definitely an awesome way to generate good traffic.You should always be on the lookout for opportunities to guest post and keep building connections with people that will let you do that. It does not even have to be a world famous website.

    I have tried guest posting, and got good results too.

    But, now I don't do that. Since, my focus is always on creating a controversial, jaw-dropping, and fully-researched content, which is new for the reader, and which can compel them to think.

    When I create a super powerful content, I get more shares and likes on social media profiles. Some articles go viral too, and I automatically get floods of traffic and links from different websites. I don't need to ask for their permission. They are the ones who publish my content on their own.

    It takes some time, maybe one or two months, but once I have 30-50 powerful articles, it is more than enough to establish myself as an authority in any niche.

    Guest blogging is not the most effective strategy and it has nothing to do with so called SEO ranking.

    When we get do-follow backlink with guest post then sure we get long lasting and strong results. But as per regarding no-follow backlink only the traffic counts at last.

      perhaps that's what we call the referral traffic. Altough, Google doesn't take this in count for Organic Rankings but perhaps Google notices it and gives our sites some leverage. What do you say?

        Basically google bots never counts those links which carry no-follow tag in this link. So these are only reads as a text and reference. But in case of do-follow they index these links in ranking as well as next topics related to same domain.
