What does "unrankable" mean with PR?

I don't usually pay much attention to PR, but I do have it showing on my FF browser and occasionally look at it.

As I was cruising around today I noticed that many sites ( mainly blogs) had the words "unrankable" listed where I usually see PR, Alexa & Compete. Most of the blogs had good content and some didn't but couldn't see a trend.

I am also noticing "private" - but that I can understand

I had never noticed this before and was wondering what it meant.

I think you just see 0 PR. And to increase PR with your sites you need to focus on developing it.

The strange thing is that I am also seeing "unranked" on sites while others say unrankable.

I just went through all of my sites and I have one that now says unrankable when it has been around for 3 years and had a PR rating.
Looks like it's still getting the same amount of traffic and has the same standings as before, so I'm not sure what the deal is.

I've not yet seen an "unrankable" PR, a website will have PR ranging from 0 to 10.

I have just checked out several highly popular blogs that are showing up "unrankable" and when I look at them at any of the page rank checkers they are all still PR 6's and up so something just must be up with the FF addon.

Won't even think about it anymore.

Those who did not get success yet, we better spend less time and test more things, as we get success we can branch out (or choose to continue as a team).
