Does my back link on a page that has a No Archived Robot tag count in Google (INC.COM)?

Hi guys
I paid lots of money to get listed in INC.com with Domain Authority of 90 and I may have gotten ripped off. Can you please let me know if that is the case?

Here is the page where my link appears in the body.

https://www.inc.com/chris-j-snook/5-...heir-team.html

I thought that the article, would be indexed in Google within hours. So I waited and waited but I did not see the cached link in the SERPS.

Then the provider says the article got a so called No Archived Robot Tag. I checked and sure enough it is there in the source code, so I cannot see the cached link in the SERPS.

So my questions are;

1. Is this article indexed in Google? How can I know?

2. Would the back link count if it's located on a no archived article?

I checked my ahrefs program and the back link is not showing up there....

Can anyone help me in this please?

Millions of thanks,

Chloe

    1. Yes it is indexed.

    2. It shouldn't effect the links, but you definitely got ripped off.

First, you should avoid anyone selling links in Inc., Forbes, or Huffington Post.

They are trying to take advantage of people that think DA has an impact on how strong a link is. It doesn't. Besides the fact that Google does not use DA, it is DOMAIN authority, not PAGE authority. DA would only be significant if your link was posted on the home page of the site.

Instead your link is on a brand new page with no authority of its own with no real direct link path from the home page.

Just about anyone could sign up to be a contributor to any of those three publications. It's not the same as being a part of their editorial staff and getting published by them. It is more like you setup a new blog on Tumblr. It's worthless.

The real kicker though is all external links published by contributors on those sites are tagged nofollow. Even if you don't believe anything else I said and think that DA matters, the nofollow tag means they provide ZERO SEO benefit of at all.

So you paid a lot of money for an utterly worthless link.

    Looks like a nofollow link.

Yes, you got ripped off If you thought it was going to help with SEO.

DA is what scammers pitch when selling junk.
