Help!! Need backlink advice!
Just moved our website to a new host and working on SEO.
Our Old host had us on a shared IP with another website (unrelated and completely different industry - holiday parks vs our engineering website). when we run a backlinks report we get a HUGE amount of backlinks showing from the other website which don't exist when u actually go to the their site.
We obviously don't want these backlinks as we're worried google will blacklist us.
We thought it might be a DNS configuration issue but apparently not according to new host.
The other website has also now lived host and old server shut down.
Is this something to do with them previously sharing a server IP?
Anyone have any ideas why we have so many back links showing from the other website and how we can get rid of them!!? (Even though when I go to their site the links technically aren't even there)
Help!!

If you are getting backlinks from other sites that are not meant for you or you have never created them, then it is a sign of danger. Please verify whether Google has started showing your customers the warning message "This Site May Harm Your Computer". If so, then your website has been hacked for sure. But, don't worry you can always recover from it. Get the recovery tips from Techmagnate blog.
