Does a subdomain without SSL negatively affect an SSL encrypted domain's SEO?
- SEO |
I'm sending a good amount of traffic to the landing pages everyday through AdWords, but because of this, it is also tracking users going to the http subdomain unless they click around to the main website.
Since the subdomain doesn't have the SSL encryption, is this negatively affecting my domain's SEO?
I've been reading up on this, but can't find a reliable source on the subject. I've also read a decent amount about internal cannabalization, and am weary to change the subdomain to be encrypted because of this.
Any ideas?
Cheers!
