Junk Text in site description.

Hi,
I have a very specific question. I have a website and when I type the site name in Google search I can see additional information alongside my site name : See example.

This probably happened when I was adding a back link code on my site for submitting my site on a directory. Apparently the bots crawled and it got added in the site description.

Now i have edited the description but this is still appearing in google search.

How can this be removed ? Is there a way or do i need to be lucky enough for Google to re-crawl and update.

Regards
Prakash Dayani

Keep waiting. Google will update it in a few days (weeks).

If it happened from code that was previously there and has since been corrected, don't worry about it. Google will see the change when they index it again. Might take a few weeks.

Actually you can use this google webmaster console tool to accelerate the change of the particular SERP snippet. They will ask you to describe what has changed and it will be recrawled sooner. It will not remove your page from the index. Just read the FAQ about the tool.

Once Google bot crawls your site again the necessary changes will be indexed and you can see the update soon within few weeks.
    Stay calm.
