When creating new content, how can you make sure you are writing about something the visitor will find interesting?

What method do you use? E.g., like Google keyword popularity.

If you use ideas from other sites in your niche, how do you know those articles are being read?

      Hello Mudassar
I hope I'm not out of line asking you this here, in this thread but, here goes.

I don't know anything about Long Tail Pro (LTP)...so your answer helped me because I'm wondering about keyword tools.

Does LTP return results on the number of competing websites ranked in Google, Yahoo or Bing for an exact keyword?

I don't want to spend time writing content around highly competitive keywords.

The number of competing sites has nothing at all to do with how easy or hard it will be for you to rank on page one (which is really the only page that matters).

The important thing is how hard the sites on page one are to beat.

One of my favorite methods is to use Google trends (www.google.com/trends/) to see what's about to become popular. If you can be one of the first ones to write about a subject, you'll get a lot of attention, visitors AND natural links.

It's all about timing. People are interested by the latest news/gadget/gossip!

Content attractiveness can make interest of visitors. If contents are easy to read and understand then it can take the interest from visitors. Suppose your content is about food related and it is very good quality of content, but you post your content in health related sites then won wok how it should be. And google keywords planner is easy to use and here you can know which keywords are so popular which keywords has more competition.

Use a google alerts, check what others write about and follow their steps, but dont do copy&paste , read and write it your way. Remember, all the content you post on your website must be 100% unique, otherwise is waste of time.
