Is it a problem if I talk about various (but closely related) subjects on my website for SEO?

My niche is "self-development for men".

But I have various "sub-niches" that I want to talk about on my website...

Right now I only talk about one subject (social anxiety) and all of my articles are geared towards that sub-sub-niche topic, but I am not gaining a lot of traction.

My original plan was to talk about one sub-sub-niche at first, then gain traction for that keyword (make google understand that im a great source for this subject), then expand my field of topics as I grow.

But I was recently thinking to myself: Why not start with the end in mind and create content on the different categories I eventually want my blog to be about (social anxiety, mindfulness, confidence, dating for shy guys, meditation).

All of my sub-niches are geared towards helping guys create more freedom in their lives (hence my website name: Freedom Academy HQ .com)

Question

Will google penalize me for not sticking with an ultra-specific niche?

    I'm looking at your site on Google SERPs (site:domain.com).

    What you need to do is get organized, the site.

    Right now you have URLs without categories, so If you start creating pages on different subjects (same niche) it's going to be a complete mess as the site grows.

    Get organized ASAP, the sooner, the better.

    Google is ok with you having multiple subjects, what you need to do is think of each subject (category) as a mini-site on it's own. Look into SEO silo site structure, there's a few old threads I've posted on in this SEO forum.
