I guess I don't get it. I see the site indexed on Google. You are on page 2 for "best dog training advice"

    bestdogtrainingadvice - Google Search

You are there on the first page.

I did a search for bestdogtrainingadvice

The dot com is beating you still.

I don't think you have given things enough time, and you will need to do some more work to rank.

Yahoo takes longer from my personal experience.

If you're logged into a googel account, it may be worth logging out before you check your ranking. I'm not sure 100% on the basis of this but I read here on the warrior forum something about logging out to check your 'real' ranking, it could of course be a load of hot air!

I wish all my problems were as easily solved as yours.

You: "Hey guys, I don't see my site at all!"

Us: "Dude. You're on Page 1."

      You: "Sweet!"

      I'm jealous.

Seriously, though, Google does like to customize its display to your computer. Either logout of your account before searching, or go to pagewash.com and then go to google.com through there and search. Or use the firefox plugin "Rank Checker" from seobook.com.

      Congrats on the high ranking!

Did you ever do any keyword research? With a quick search on the google keyword tool it looks like no one is searching for "best dog training advice". This could be why it was so easy to rank, and why you still are not getting much traffic from it.

Plus I found your site kinda hard to read... too many different fonts and colours. If you write longer articles with black text on white background and don't use fonts like Comic sans I think it would be a much easier site to read.

      Good Luck!

Thank you for your advice. I actually did do some keyword research. I did some extesive research And I see what I did. I made my mistake. I had two key words that were searched for in my excel document. best dog training, dog training advice, and I mistakenly combined them. which gave me a low competive market that would be easily ranked. However no one searches for them

    Oops .

well now I know not to make that mistake. I still think I can save the sight by changing the font like suggested and targeting better keywords.
